OFFICE POLICIES
Fees
Initial acupuncture appointment (approx 1-11/2 hours) $120.
Follow up appointments (approx 1 hour) $90.
Payment
Cash, Checks and Credit Cards are accepted.
Payment is due at time of service.
Cancellation Policy
Please notify me at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to change or cancel.
For appointments missed due to non-emergency reasons without notice you will be charged the full appointment fee.
If you are feeling ill, tested positive or have symptoms of Covid-19 please contact me to reschedule-there will be no charge in this type of situation.
Insurance
I do not contract with or file claims directly to insurance companies. If you have a plan that covers acupuncture I am happy to provide you with an invoice that includes the insurance billing codes. I suggest calling your insurance company to find out the specifics of your coverage and how to submit acupuncture claims.
Confidentiality
The information discussed in this office is held in the strictest confidence. However, if you are submitting these treatments to your insurance company, they have the right to request copies of your records
Logistical info
Please be aware that my office is on the second floor accessed only by stairs. There is NO elevator.

ABOUT/BIO
Jill Gottfried, licensed acupuncturist, earned her Master of Acupuncture degree from the New England School of Acupuncture and has been licensed through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine Committee on Acupuncture, since 1999. She also maintains a Diplomate in Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac) through the NCCAOM.
Jill practices Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture and has training in Orthopedic Acupuncture.
